FASTBLOCK® 301 type 2 by TA Aerospace is a compound made to be molded for a perfect fit around the aircraft’s structure or assembles. In a molded, cured form, FASTBLOCK® 301 product is recommend for use in applications requiring outstanding thermal Insulation and fire barrier characteristics. Cured FASTBLOCK® 301 is effective at temperatures from -65˚F to +400˚F (-54˚C to +204˚C) and can withstand temperatures of up to +2000˚F (+1093˚C) as per FAA AC 20-135. This state-of-the-art insulation system is specifically designed to provide superior thermal protection. This is a two-part addition cured low-density solvent-free compound.
